Update on fulfillment ...

Hello, hope everyone is well. Here's a bulleted update based on which group you are in regarding waiting for your dice...
Backer Kit: all package groups have been identified (irrespective as to where you live) and sets are going out in these ‘package groups’. For example we just sent 100 people their full set of one of each of the five Chromatic Dragon colours, smooth edged & a single set of smooth edged Goddess Dragon dice. There are 98 left of you and these SKUs are being prepared now. You will get your sets next. Yes, we did say we were going to do the full hoards but we are missing red, black & blue sharp edged dice (that are good enough to send out), so these will be fulfilled once the factory have made the dice (please read on)
*The reason this part is taking so long is that there are 594 package groups… meaning 594 different variations of batches for the remaining backers. That’s on us of course because we made so many SKUs. Also as mentioned above any orders with sharp red, black & blue are most likely going to be waiting the longest (SORRY)
Shopify pre-orders: where possible these are also being fulfilled and we have just sent 300 parcels out (again, irrespective as to where you live).
Replacements: these are all entered in to Shopify as a CS (customer service) SKU and none of these have been fulfilled yet. We are going to work through the rest of the package groups from Backer Kit first & all pre-orders on Shopify, and then move on to replacements.
Non US peeps: as mentioned above, you are all being done in batches NOT by location
The factory: after long drawn out negotiations on how many dice they are willing to remake for free, we have agreed to a number and they will commence making the missing blue, red & black dice. One thing to note is that free dice have to be made as part of larger paid for orders. This means that as a business we are working hard to make money to continually send to the factory. These new dice will cover off the remaining full orders and all the CS replacements. They are highly motivated to get this done as we do have plans for more dice once you guys are all happy.
CRWN Wholesale site: anyone who bought at GenCon the year before, are also being fulfilled now.
If you see a tracking link (Shopify sends an email, Backer Kit it's on your profile page) please don’t email unless more than a week has passed. The labels are raised in the warehouse and then some are sent to Ohio for fulfillment. The labels need printing, attaching to a box and then collecting. So this takes a bit of time.
Thanks for the patience and to all of you who send nice emails. As previously mentioned there is no point in you emailing to ask where your dice are or when you be fulfilled as we work though the batches based on what packages are ready to go. Please let us get this done without sharing your opinions on whether or not you think we are doing it right. We have all had to adjust to this disaster and there is no-one who wants this to be over more than us.

Fulfillment of the Dragon's Hoard will commence shortly

The new goddess and white sharps arrived into Ohio, so boxes are being packed to fulfil all of you who have ordered the full hoard. Apparently they are gorgeous! (As a reminder, these were delayed as a large percentage of the white and goddess sharp edged dice were yellow). This will include any of you who are in Canada or other parts of the Americas. We are starting with those of you who have all 12 sets and then working backwards, until all orders than contain sharp edged dice, are done. Meanwhile the other colours of the sharps are being made in the factory. Ideally as Ohio fulfills orders with sharps, more will arrive in time to continue this process until you are all fufilled. There are also plenty of round edged dice in Ohio, meaning they should be able to get all of you, with the larger orders, completed.
Simultaneously, parcels are constantly leaving Oregon based on SKUs available, rather than geographical location. In this case it’s mostly round edged dice.
Why there are now two locations fulfilling? As we mentioned before, we had the pallet of failed dice sent to Ohio where the manufacturing partners are based. They are carefully going through the failed sets and making new sets with all aligned dice and adding in the brand new goddess and white dice, to replace the yellowed sets that failed the QC. There have been a couple of negative comments about this regarding the opening and closing of the boxes. This process is of course not being done recklessly, but with a great deal of care and attention to detail.
Whilst Ohio are concentrating on the larger orders, they are also dealing with orders from Kickstarter & Shopify where sharps are in the order. You guys are having your labels printed based on what you bought. For example a group of you with D20 round edged dice & green sharp were recently fulfilled from Ohio and this is an ongoing process. Reports are run in batches based on SKUs ordered and then your labels are issued in pdf form in Oregon, emailed to Ohio, where the labels are printed and added to your already packed boxes, for collection by USPS. Those of you outside the US, your orders are also going to be fulfilled in batches based on what you ordered.
All of us are working on this to streamline what labels are printed and when. We need to have the boxes packed and ready to go, to then push through the labels as they do expire if the process takes too long.
All replacements for original orders will start to be sent when we have completed the original fulfillment. We are getting there and as we’ve said many times… none of us asked for this and so your patience and understanding is much appreciated.
Posting an update undoubtedly creates a lot of emails but please be mindful of the fact that I am the one generating the batches and then communicating this with the team / functioning as the co-ordinator. The more emails you guys send, the less time I have to fulfil dice. The same goes with Facebook. We are on a mission to fulfil the dice, this has never not been the case, so please let us do our jobs. Despite the fact that we do not know when each of you individually is getting their parcel, we do know that you are getting it!!! Please keep an eye on Backer Kit and if you ordered from Shopify, you will be emailed a tracking link. Quitting is not an option for us although honestly it would be easier.

Update on the dice… we are still fulfilling to the US backers from both Oregon and Ohio (photo of the van is boxes being fulfilled from Ohio). We are chatting about all you patient backers in Canada, Mexico & Latin America and we will let you know when your fulfillment will commence… we are anticipating that it will be soon. We’ll let you know
More details on the above:
The process of fulfilling paused in Oregon as the whole warehouse moved to a larger facility. They are back up and running and we are waiting on a count from them to see who can be fulfilled next. This means that until we have the count, we do not know who’s labels can be raised but as soon as your label is raised, your tracking number will appear under the ‘shipping’ tab in Backer Kit. Please do not email to ask when you are getting your dice as we have no idea, until we know whose label can be raised based on what stock we have.
This also applies to the situation in Ohio. Yesterday for example, a list of you were sent to Oregon, for your labels to be raised, for your dice to be fulfilled from Ohio. This list includes about half of you who have a set of round edged D20s in your order. Again, you will see a tracking link appear in Backer Kit when your label is raised.
Please be patient when you see a tracking link as your label is raised in Oregon, emailed to Ohio and then a small team whose day job is NOT fulfillment, will be packing and sending your dice. There is no need to chase as this will take a little bit of time.
Regarding what the factory is up to. Here’s some evidence of the sharp edged white and goddess that they have now made (see pic below).
Of course we would love for the factory to produce all the dice that they owe us, at the same time, but the reality is they are working at their pace based on the fact that they are having to make all of these dice for free. As a result they have just completed the main stages of the new white and goddess sharp edged dice and these will be sent to Ohio for packing and fulfillment, once they have been properly finished. In Ohio there are now a lot of boxes and eggs spare as the rejected dice have been disgarded. It was decided that sending trays of dice into the US and having them packed in Ohio will speed up the process of you getting your boxes. As the factory move on to different colours, we will send evidence of this, we will also let you know when the dice start making their way to Ohio.
Any of you who have a lot of sharp edged dice or are pre-orders on Shopify, we are looking at your orders also and where possible are fulfilling you too, but you are most likely going to be fulfilled from the new dice. As soon as the factory send us a batch of dice, we will get them in the mail and post a update as to what dice we are fulfilling. For now, we are concentrating on getting all the available round edged dice out to you all.

What’s happening with your dice & other items (yes, other items) …

First off, THANK YOU to everyone who came to say hi at PAX East and/or has subsequently bought our new Level Up Digital. These will be shipping from Portland and you will all receive a tracking number from Shopify. If anyone is curious about the Level Up Digital it’s on our website here. To those who feel like posting a negative comment about us launching a new product (which is helping keep the lights on), whilst we are all waiting for the remaining dice, hold your horses please as below is an update on the dice…
Update on the dice:
As we mentioned in a previous update, the missing dice are being manufactured in small batches before being checked and sent to backers. This is done in two stages, with the sourcing of the agate stones and the printing of the eyes completed, everything is almost ready for casting. According to the manufacturing partners, the team did a full review of the moulds and clips to ensure good output. We are hopeful for casting to start next week but that depends on getting the all clear from the team. We will keep you posted on this.
Our warehouse in Portland have just gone through a move, to make space for all of our items and are still fulfilling the tail end of the dice that they have. As a reminder, your tracking number will appear under the 'shipping' tab in Backer Kit. We appreciate that an update makes you want to ask about this, but the info we have is the same as what you have so please bear with us. No tracking number = label hasn’t been raised yet = you are still waiting.
Another thing that is happening is a pallet of ‘failed’ dice has been shipped from Portland to Ohio, for our engineer to check over. As a result, all sets have been inspected, opened up and full sets have been made with perfectly aligned dice, with all failed dice being discarded. This means we have more full sets that we can now send out. We are working with the fulfillment partners in Portland to get labels for the relevant people sent over to Ohio for imminent shipment. You will notice that on Backer Kit your fulfillment status changes to 'Fulfillment Processing'.
For those of you who have reported your faulty dice, the portal is being regularly checked for new uploads and new orders are being made. We can say that it has massively slowed down and here’s to the rest of you who get dice from now on, having no issues at all.
We know the struggle is real and we apologise for the delay again, but we are still working away to do right by everyone

Happy March!
The factory are full steam ahead with making dice to finish the initial Kickstarter fulfillment and get out replacements once everyone has received their initial order.
They sent a cool video & a couple of pictures to show you in more detail exactly what goes into the making of each and every one of your dice.
Those of you who haven’t had any dice yet
The warehouse are fulfilling at a speedy rate and the last update we had from them was that there were enough dice to send out 1,500 more orders, but that number is dropping every day, as parcels leave the warehouse. We will let you know as soon as they have finished and then any of you who do not have their dice, will be fulfilled in the next batch, which are the dice that are being made now. Once fulfillment is complete from Oregon that will leave approx 18% of you who are waiting. We will let you know when the warehouse have run out of dice.
Regarding replacements
All of the ROW replacement orders have been made on Shopify and then those of you in the US / Canada / rest of the Americas, who are still receiving dice, please add the faults to the portal here. It is not necessary to also email pictures as the same person is constantly checking the portal for new uploads. Your replacement orders will then be made on Shopify as they come in. As stated in the email that all you get, at the end of the day that your new order is made, IGNORE any shipping amount. It is simply to be able to report what is is costing us to resend the dice.
In most cases we are not asking you to return your squiffy dice. If we are, you will be emailed about this individually.
A few people have mentioned the hand placed vs technology… the agates are hand placed into the device (see picture above) that holds the agate in the centre of the mould. Where the iris might be slightly off, it's due to this hand placing part BUT the agate should always be dead centre, which as you know hasn’t always been the case. This is all being worked out in all batches from now on.
We are sorry for the delay BUT as promised we are fulfilling each and every one of you and we will be replacing all reported dice.
